How do I want my life to be?
- What is important to me?
- What I have I learnt about myself? This question helped me focus on my actions, thinking and beliefs that may have impacted both positively and negatively on my life.
- What would make a positive difference to my life?
2. From these reflections I then choose a word or 2 to be my focus for the year. This word sums up my direction for the year. These are the words that I have used over the last 3 years
CELEBBRATE, DECLUTTER and IMPOSSIBLE which translates to I’M POSSIBLE.
My lighthouse words for 2015 are MOMENTUM and BALANCE.
3. Looking at my year through the lens of my lighthouse words and not resolutions has made a difference. Throughout the year I will ask ‘How is this contributing to the momentum and balance in my life?’ This focus becomes a benchmark for changing my actions, thoughts, beliefs and behaviour or letting go that may not be contributing positively to my life.
I have discovered that happiness doesn’t just happen we have to live it and do it.
I would love to hear what direction you are going in 2015.
